Ahmedabad, 25 September (IANS). Adaani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said on Thursday that young entrepreneurs can play an important role in shaping India’s ‘second freedom struggle’. This struggle is not for independence from foreign rule, but for independence in technology and social innovation, which raises every community, removes differences and strengthens democracy.
During his address in the fourth edition of Adani Green Tox, Gautam Adani said that we are joining our country’s ‘second freedom struggle’ of freedom with inequality, inactivity and indifference.
He said, “Friends, the freedom of big dreams is the core of ‘Green Tox’. It is based on the belief that every new idea is a blueprint for change. It reminds us that development is not straightforward, it is unpredictable and often invisible.”
The chairman of Adani Group said, “When a green copper suddenly comes out of the surface, it declares a new chapter of freedom and hope. The gentle green copper has the essence of every great dream that has created history.”
Hundreds of dreams have been evaluated in only three editions of Green Tox and 15 best companies have shared their visions on the stage.
Gautam Adani said, “In a world where nine out of ten startups fail, it is interesting to see how many people who have dreamed have already crossed the difficulties.”
He said, “As an entrepreneur, I know what dreams happen. Only the dreamers leave such marks that cannot erase history. Out of the entrepreneurs I meet, they affect me the most, who are social entrepreneurs. They start with the desire to create a better society, not in search of money.”
Gautam Adani said that our final goal is to make Green Tax more than just one platform.
He said, “It should be a vibrant platform of cooperation, where the innovation of India meets the imagination of the world. A place where social startups create new ideas. Unite for a purpose and work for the good of humanity. It should be an ecosystem where every partner should be associated with transactions, but with shared missions to move forward with goodness, so that we can leave a better and sustainable world.”
