Lucknow/Malkangiri, 23 September (IANS). There is a wave of happiness among people after GST reform is implemented. Under this, due to the huge amount of trains, the crowds of customers are thronging the showrooms and a large number of sales are also being done.

Customer Shabir, who came to buy the car, while talking to the news agency IANS, that he has bought a Creta car and has helped to save from Rs 70,000 to 80,000 due to low GST rates on it.

At the same time, another customer Ram Singh said that the benefit of GST is being given to the customers from the companies. I have bought Hyundai i10 vehicle and due to the new GST rates, its price has been reduced by about Rs 70,000 as compared to earlier.

In Hyundai’s dealership present in Lucknow, Assistant General Manager Asim said that a lot of positive response to GST reform is being seen in customers. The number of cars buy for the first time is increasing. The company has also given full advantage of GST to customers, due to which the prices of vehicles have come down a big reduction.

The same trend is being seen in other cities. A similar trend is being seen in Malkangiri, Odisha. Customers said that after the arrival of the new GST rates, the prices of vehicles have come down significantly and buying bikes and cars has become economical than before.

The new GST reforms have come into effect from 22 September. The tax on 1200 cc and petrol trains less than 4 meters and 1500 cc and diesel trains of less than 4 meters has come down to 18 percent. This will now levy a tax of 40 percent on the segment and capacity vehicles above, which was earlier about 50 percent. GST on 350 cc and less bike has now come down to 18 percent, which was earlier 28 percent.
