New Delhi, February 8 (IANS). The upcoming ‘India-AI Impact Summit 2026’ is being organized through seven cycles (working groups). These seven chakras are based on seven different interconnected subjects. Each cycle focuses on a key area of AI impact and sets out concrete steps from policy making to real-world use of AI. This information has been revealed in an official statement released on Sunday.
Each round promotes collaboration between countries on the social impacts of AI, ranging from teaching people new skills to the appropriate and safe use of AI. These seven cycles are – human resources, inclusion for social empowerment, safe and reliable AI, science, innovation and efficiency, making AI resources accessible to all, and AI for economic growth and social well-being.
The statement said that through these cycles, on one hand, India wants to solve local problems, and on the other hand, it also wants to play a role in setting rules related to AI for the world. The outcomes of this summit will guide policy makers, investors and industry leaders in the years to come.
More than 100 countries around the world have joined these working groups to shape the future of responsible and inclusive AI. Heads of state of 15 to 20 countries, more than 50 international ministers and CEOs of more than 40 global and Indian companies are expected to attend the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 to be held from 16 to 20 February.
The foundation of this summit has been laid on three main principles, which are called Sutras. These formulas are- people, earth and progress. These principles set the direction for global cooperation on AI.
The ‘India-AI Impact Summit 2026’ reinforces India’s role as the premier platform to set the global AI agenda. Based on seven chakras and three sutras, this summit connects the development of AI with the welfare of the people and the progress of the country.
The statement said that this summit creates a strong framework for implementing policy, linking innovation with public interest and responsible use of AI. Its objective is to link technological advances to equitable development and a sustainable future.
This summit makes India an important partner in global AI cooperation. It promotes shared rules, collaborative working, and broadly applicable solutions for the good of society. This is a major step forward from talk to action and reflects India’s commitment to responsible and inclusive AI.
