According to the ‘EY 2025 Work Reimagined Survey’, 75 percent of employees and 72 percent of companies believe that GenAI helps in making better decisions, while 82 percent of employees and 92 percent of companies believe that AI improves the quality of work.
The report shows that India is among the top countries in the world in AI adoption. India’s ‘AI Advantage’ score is 53, while the world average score is 34. This tells us how much time AI is saving for employees and how easy the work is becoming.
The survey, now in its sixth edition, draws on information from 15,000 employees and 1,500 companies across 29 countries globally.
According to the report, 800 employees and 50 companies in India were surveyed, which shows the rapidly increasing use of AI in the country.
India’s talent health score in this survey was 82, which is the highest among all countries. This means that employees in India are quite satisfied with their work environment, salary and learning opportunities. At the same time, the world’s average talent health score is 65.
The report also states that 94 percent of companies and 89 percent of employees believe that AI is being used properly and responsibly in India, which has increased people’s trust in AI.
Although 87 percent of employees and 90 percent of companies believe it is important to learn new AI skills, most employees spend less than 40 hours a year learning AI.
The report says that employees who spend more time learning AI have a lower tendency to leave their jobs and their work is also better and of better quality.
