New Delhi, February 17 (IANS). India’s leading tech company Infosys on Tuesday announced a partnership with American AI company Anthropic. Together, the two companies will develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions across software, manufacturing, financial services and telecommunications sectors.
Under this partnership, Infosys’ Topaz will be combined with Anthropic’s cloud model (including cloud code) to automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery and develop agentic AI solutions across various industries, Infosys said in a statement.
The partnership will begin with a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence in the telecommunications sector, which will build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific tasks. The partnership will also expand to other industries including financial services, manufacturing and software development.
Under this partnership, AI agents in the services sector will work to detect risks and automate compliance reporting. Also, will establish personal contact with customers.
In manufacturing and engineering, Cloude will help speed up product design and simulation, reducing R&D time and allowing engineers to test more versions before production.
The company said that in the software development sector, teams will use CloudCode to write, test and fix existing bugs in the code – allowing developers to complete the process from design to production faster.

“There is a huge gap between AI models that work in demos and AI models that work in regulated industry, and if you want to bridge that gap, you need domain expertise. Infosys has exactly that kind of expertise in critical industries like telecom, financial services and manufacturing,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic.
