Mumbai, January 19 (IANS). LTIMindtree, one of the country’s leading IT companies, on Monday announced its third quarter results for FY26. In the October-December period, the company’s profit has declined by 10.4 percent on an annual basis to Rs 970.6 crore.
The company said in its exchange filing that the reason for lower profit was one-time expenditure due to the implementation of the new labor code.
The company had made a profit of Rs 1,085.4 crore in the December quarter of FY25.
In the filing, the company said there was a one-time expense of Rs 590.3 crore due to the adoption of the new labor codes, which was to be done only once.
The Mumbai-headquartered digital solutions company posted revenue of Rs 11,008.2 crore in Q3FY26, up 11.49 per cent from revenue of Rs 9,873.4 crore in the same period last fiscal.
The company’s operating income has increased by 11.59 percent year-on-year to Rs 10,781 crore in the October-December period.
In its filing, LTIMindtree said that considering the material and one-time nature of the cost, the increased expense has been classified as an “exceptional item” in the consolidated profit and loss statement for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025.
The company clarified that this expense does not reflect any decline in its core business performance, but is a one-time adjustment due to regulatory changes.
“The company’s strong performance in Q3 reflects our strategic AI transformation, continued success in large deals and operational excellence, supported by our proactive efforts to build a more robust and balanced portfolio,” said Venu Lambu, CEO and MD, LTIMindtree.
Lambu further said, “This is the third consecutive quarter in which we have achieved growth of more than 2 per cent, which reflects our disciplined work, deep tech-domain expertise and differentiated AI-based offerings.”
