Gurugram, February 26 (IANS). Tech giant Samsung on Thursday announced that its flagship Galaxy S26 series is now available for pre-order in India. Its starting price is Rs 87,999, while the price of the top model Galaxy S26 Ultra goes up to Rs 1,89,999.
The Galaxy S26 series includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company says that this new series provides the most advanced ‘Agentic AI’ mobile experience ever, making everyday tasks easier and smarter.
The aim of these smartphones is to complete tasks like managing schedules, searching information, capturing content and editing photos and videos with less effort.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs 1,59,999. Whereas, 16 GB + 1 TB variant will be available for Rs 1,89,999.
The price of Galaxy S26+ starts at Rs 1,19,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model will be available at Rs 1,39,999.
The price of Galaxy S26 is Rs 87,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, while the 12 GB + 512 GB version will be available for Rs 1,07,999.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series begin on February 25 across leading online and offline retail stores across the country.
Customers can also pre-order through Samsung Live on the company’s official website.
These smartphones are available in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue colors. Apart from this, exclusive Pink Gold and Silver Shadow color options will also be available on Samsung.com.
In the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the company has claimed that it has brought the industry’s first in-built privacy display in a mobile phone, which protects user data by reducing the visibility of the screen from side angles.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform processor customized for Galaxy, which delivers smooth multitasking and strong on-device AI capabilities with superior CPU, GPU and NPU performance.
To keep the phone cool during heavy use, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has been redesigned, with a vapor chamber and better thermal material.
It supports super-fast charging 3.0, which, according to the company, can charge the battery up to 75 percent in about 30 minutes.
Talking about the camera, special attention has been paid to AI powered photography and video in the Galaxy S26 series.
The Ultra variant has a wider aperture for better low-light photos, enhanced nitography video and an improved Super Steady feature for stable recording.
