Suzuki motorcycle cuts the price of two -wheelers by Rs 18,000 after GST rate cut

New Delhi, 19 September (IANS). Following the announcement of GST reforms, Suzuki Motorcycle India announced a cut of up to Rs 18,000 in the prices of its two -wheelers from 22 September on Friday.

According to the Suzuki Motor Corporation’s two -wheeler a subsidiary, the price of the Zucker SF 250 model is being the highest cut by Rs 18,024. Subsequently, V-Strom SX is priced at Rs 17,982 and Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs 16,525 and Gixxer is being priced at Rs 11,520.

At the same time, talking about the company’s scooter range, the price of Bergman Street X is being cut by Rs 9,798 and the price of Bergman Street by Rs 8,373. Similarly, the price of Avenis will be reduced by Rs 7,823 and the price of access will be reduced by Rs 8,523.

Suzuki Motorcycle India said that GST 2.0 reforms will make Suzuki two -wheelers and spare parts more affordable and accessible to customers across the country than before.

The company said that the full benefit of GST 2.0 reforms will be extended to customers.

Recently, the central government announced the GST 2.0, under which the GSTer rate at all two -wheelers up to 350 cc and all auto components has been reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent.

This deduction in GST rate will ensure affordable mobility for youth, rural families, gig workers.

This deduction in GST rate has been introduced to rationalize taxation and provide direct benefits to consumers.

The company said that along with two-wheelers, GST rate cuts on spare parts and accessories will reduce maintenance costs.

Deepak Mutreja, Sales and Marketing Vice President of Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, said, “Our customers are always at the center of our work. We welcome the GST 2.0 reforms of the Government of India, which is a progressive step towards making transportation more economical for the general public. Taking care of our customer-first untouchable Spare parts provide both, which reduces both procurement and maintenance costs. “

He further said that this step just before the festive season is expected to improve customer sentiments, make our product range attractive and demand demand strongly in the two -wheeler market.
