Chinese smartphone maker Tecno has officially announced the launch of its upcoming smartphone, Tecno Camon Slim. For the last few days, many leaks and rumors were coming out about this device, but now the company has confirmed its launch through social media. According to reports, this smartphone is expected to be launched in the global market on June 21.
The teaser video released by Tecno shows a three-day countdown, suggesting that the launch event is coming soon. Pre-booking of this smartphone has started in Uganda, where special deals and discounts are being given to customers.
Talking about design, the most special thing about Tecno Camon Slim may be its ultra-slim profile. The leak suggests that the phone will be just 6.39mm thick, making it one of the thinnest smartphones from Tecno. The company is planning to introduce this device in many attractive colors. It is expected to have a wide, horizontal camera module at the back, which will house multiple sensors and an LED flash. What’s special is that there are two circular elements inside the camera module that are designed to show notifications, call alerts and charging status using LED light effects – this design element is said to be inspired by the Tecno Spark Slim.
