New Delhi. The Telecom Regulatory Authority i.e. TRAI sent a notice on the closure of the entry level prepaid plan by mobile phone companies Airtel and Reliance Jio. Both companies have responded to TRAI. Now the step taken by TRAI is being discussed. On this, TRAI sources have told the media that there is no need to take any action immediately.
Actually, Airtel and Reliance closed their prepaid plans for Rs 249 month. On this, TRAI sought answers from both mobile companies. According to TRAI sources, Airtel has handed over the necessary documents with his reply. He has admitted that the entry level prepaid plan has been discontinued. At the same time, in the reply sent to TRAI, mobile company Reliance Jio has said that its plan is still going on, but the consumer will have to go to the company’s store and recharge it. That is, the consumer of Reliance Jio cannot recharge the plan of Rs 249 through the mobile app. Jio’s Rs 249 plan also provides 1 GB data for 28 days.
According to sources, TRAI is still watching the answers received by Airtel and Reliance Jio. According to the standard of TRAI, the answers of these companies will be decided. TRAI does not want to intervene immediately. Please tell that TRAI has already started a 30 -day plan by ordering all mobile companies. In addition to 5G, 4G and 2G mobile service is currently running in the country. People talk through basic mobile phones in 2G. Data is not available on this service.
