In India, people are now paying more attention to AI features than camera and battery while buying a new mobile phone. A new report has revealed that almost 89% of people buy mobile phones based on AI features. This means that AI features are attracting customers more than battery life and other factors. The report shows that people are now taking decisions based on experience rather than upgrades based on specifications. This is the reason why mobile phone manufacturing companies are increasingly providing AI features in their smartphones.

AI Features Have Become a Decisive Factor

According to a report by Flipkart and Counterpoint Research, Artificial Intelligence has become an important factor in choosing a smartphone. About 89% of people make mobile phone purchasing decisions based on AI features. AI is slowly becoming an important part of our lives and is now being used in everything from voice assistants to content creation and personalization. It is also worth noting that even in the price range of Rs 15,000 to 20,000, people are paying full attention to AI features. People are now preferring AI features rather than premium features.

How is AI being used?

AI features are being used in different ways in mobile phones. While Generation Z uses AI for content creation and entertainment, Millennials use it for productivity and planning. Women use AI features for daily tasks and everyday needs.

People are ready to pay money even for looks and beauty.

The report also revealed that 64% of users prefer colorful devices. People are willing to pay up to 5% more for a mobile phone in their preferred color and material. This trend is especially visible among Generation Z, women and customers in medium-sized cities.

Mobile phones have become better with AI.

With the advent of AI, cell phones have also become more advanced, offering a variety of tools that can improve performance and battery life. For photography, features like Camera Coach have been added to help you take photos like a professional photographer.
