This week of July is going to be very special for mobile users and tech lovers. Samsung’s most expensive flagship foldable phone is coming. On one hand, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra are being launched, while on the other hand, Lava’s new ‘Virat V1’ series of cheap smartphones will come in the Indian market. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8
Launch date – 22 July
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to have a 7.6-inch main screen and a 5.5-inch cover screen. QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel can be used in both displays. On opening the phone, an aspect ratio of 4:3 can be found. It may have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. For photography, it may have a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and two 10-megapixel selfie cameras. Talking about power, it is expected to have a 4800mAh battery that will support 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
Launch date – 22 July
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to launch with an 8-inch main screen and a 6.5-inch cover display. It may also have a QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. Samsung has announced that it will use the new ‘Flex Titanium’ technology, which will make creases less visible. It may also have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. For photography, it may have a camera setup with a 200MP OIS main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens. Additionally, there may be a 10-megapixel front camera on both the secondary and primary displays. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports Qi wireless features including 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare.
iQOO Z11 Lite
Launch date – 24th July
iQOO Z11 Lite 5G phone is going to be launched in India on July 24. It has a 6,500mAh battery that is designed to last for five years and supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. This cheap 5G phone will run on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor. It is expected to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup for photography. This phone will be launched with a military-grade strong body.
Lava Virat V1
Launch date – 24th July
Indian mobile company Lava is launching its new ‘Virat’ smartphone series on July 24, which includes two models: Lava Virat V1 4G and Lava Virat V1 5G. Both are budget smartphones that run stock Android. The Virat V1 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000mAh battery, and is powered by the UNISOC T8200 processor. Whereas, Virat V1 4G has UNISOC SC9863A processor and 5,000mAh battery. Both Lava phones come with IP64 rating.
OPPO K15
Launch date – July 24 (China)
OPPO K15 is scheduled to launch in China on July 24. It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset and has a 4950mm VC cooling chamber. As for power, the device packs an 8000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. This 5G phone has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The OPPO K15 5G will have a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED screen and will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
