Amarnath Yatra 2022 The date of Amarnath Yatra of Lord Shankar has been announced. This time Baba Amarnath Yatra will start from 30th June which will last for 43 days. This information has been given by tweeting on behalf of the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor’s Office. The date of the Yatra was finalized after a meeting with the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. It is worth noting that in the year 2019, during the process of withdrawing special status from Jammu and Kashmir and including it in the Union Territory, the Amarnath Yatra had to be canceled midway.
After this, Amarnath Yatra was postponed for the last two years due to Corona and Amarnath Yatra could be done only on a symbolic basis. In the meeting of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board chaired by Lieutenant Governor, it has been decided that the Yatra will start from June 30 and as per tradition, the Yatra will end on the day of Raksha Bandhan. It is worth mentioning that every year lakhs of people from all over the country and abroad come to join the yatra of Baba Amarnath. The state government is responsible for this holy journey of Lord Shankar.
Registration process from April 2
According to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, the devotee who wants to visit Shri Amarnath ji will have to get himself registered. This process of registration will start from April 2. According to the guidelines of the board, only 20 thousand people will be registered in a day. Apart from this, you can also register by visiting the counter on the days of travel. The rules of COVID will have to be strictly followed during the Amarnath Yatra.
