Aam Aadmi Party has decided to start door step delivery of ration for the people of Punjab. State Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on Monday, “Our officers will call you and ask what time you are at home. Our officers will deliver ration to you at your doorstep accordingly. This is an alternate scheme.”
CM Mann said that people in the state will no longer have to stand in queues to get ration, as it will be delivered at their doorsteps. Mann said, “People will have the option of opting for this scheme. Those living near the ration depot can get it from the depot. Those who opt for doorstep delivery will have to tell the concerned personnel that they can get it from their location. But at what time they are available. Clean and good quality ration will be provided to them.”
‘Decision to make people’s life easier’
Mann said the government has decided to make people’s lives easier, as governments should have done. He said that this scheme would be launched soon after working on the basic needs. Earlier in the morning, AAP had tweeted, in which it was said that Mann will make a big announcement for the people of Punjab during the day.
