PM Modi also lauded the athletes who participated in the Olympics from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He said that the players have brought laurels to the country today. PM Modi said that before India became independent on August 15, it was divided into two countries. Terrible riots broke out during this time of partition. Millions of people had to leave everything as it is, leaving their house, land, property, property. Millions lost their lives. This tragedy of Partition will never be forgotten. Hence from now onwards every year 15th August will be celebrated as ‘Partition Tragedy Memorial Day’.
Today the world is looking at India from a new perspective and this vision has two important aspects.
One terrorism and the other expansionism.
India is fighting both these challenges and is also responding with great courage in a tactful manner: PM @narendramodi
