UP Election Result: Exit polls that come after voting usually present a trend of results. Sometimes the predictions of exit polls turn out to be completely wrong and sometimes the guesses turn out to be accurate. Something similar has happened this time, when the predictions of many exit polls were wrong, then the predictions of some turned out to be true. Out of these, one exit poll has been absolutely accurate and that was the survey by News-18 Matrix. In this survey, the BJP alliance was predicted to get 262 to 277 seats, which has proved to be absolutely correct. BJP has got total 255 seats and Apna Dal has won 12 seats. Another ally, the Nishad Party, got 6 seats.
Overall the BJP alliance has got 273 seats and thus the exit poll of Matriize has been absolutely accurate. Not only this, Matrise’s exit poll has proved to be correct for the Samajwadi Party, which had predicted 119 to 134 seats for the SP alliance and it has got 125 seats. This means that the seat predictions for both the BJP and the SP in the Matterize survey have been accurate. However, many other exit polls have been proved wrong. Many times the survey poll of Today’s Chanakya, who was in the discussion by expressing the correct guess, also proved to be wrong this time.
In Chanakya’s survey, the BJP alliance was projected to get 294 seats, while the SP alliance was projected to get 105 seats. This guess was not entirely wrong, but it was a bit far from reality. Apart from this, in the survey from India Today My Access, it was said that the BJP alliance would get 288 to 326 seats, this too remained away from reality. In this survey, it was said that the SP alliance would get 71 to 101 seats. Apart from this, the survey of Polstrat, Times Now Veto, Republic P. Mark and ABP News-C Voter put the BJP alliance below 250, but these estimates proved to be wrong. In all these, SP was predicted to get more than 140 seats, but this also did not come true.
