Flood in Punjab: The Congress party has come forward to help people affected by heavy rains and floods in many states of the country. Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai went to the gurdwara in Alambagh, Lucknow on Monday and has done Ardas for the well -being of flood victims in Punjab. He has also handed over a check to Granthi Saheb of Gurdwara to help the flood affected people of Punjab.
Accused of negligence in disaster management
On this occasion, State Congress President Ajay Rai said that Congress workers are working to deliver relief material to flood affected areas in difficult times. He further said that millions of people are struggling with this natural disaster, who are facing lack of basic facilities like food, clean drinking water and medicines. Talking to the media, the State Congress President has accused the central government of negligence in disaster management. He further said that we cannot stop natural disasters.
National disaster relief and rescue institute
Disaster management can reduce loss by strengthening institutions. He claimed that the national disaster relief and rescue institutions were greatly strengthened during the UPA government, emphasis was given on quick rescue. In contrast, in the last 11 years, the Modi government has done negligible work in this area, which is unfortunate. On this occasion, former Minister Muid Ahmed, City Congress Committee President Amit Srivastava Tyagi, Right to Information Department State Chairman Pushpendra Srivastava, Mo.
