When the police reached the spot, the half-burnt body of the wife was recovered from the house.
Actually, this incident is of Pattharkandi police station area located in Karimganj district of Assam. This whole matter has happened in Moina village here. The accused man, named Jamaluddin, allegedly killed his second wife Khudeja Begum on Sunday night at his house and buried her half-dead body. According to the police, neighbors have told that there was a quarrel between the husband and wife over dowry. The fight went on for a long time.
