The Jordanian Air Force has succeeded in shooting down 2 missiles and 2 drones entering its border in the last 24 hours. This action took place at a time when Jordan’s security was at risk due to regional tensions. Military officials have confirmed that the strikes were aimed directly at key Jordanian targets. The air defense system identified these threats in time and destroyed them in the air.
Where was the damage caused after the missile attack?
The Public Security Directorate said that a total of 17 reports have been received from different parts of the country after the missile and drone fell. Two people were injured after being hit by missile debris in Zarqa Governorate and are being treated in the hospital. A house in Zarqa was damaged by debris and pieces of debris fell on a vehicle in Karak area. The army says that these attacks are a violation of Jordan’s sovereignty and threaten the safety of civilians.
