The Army has foiled attempts to carry out air strikes in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the fourth consecutive day today. The UAE Ministry of Defense (MoD) released its latest report on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, saying that the country’s security systems have done an excellent job. The Army has shot down 11 ballistic missiles and 123 drones in the air which were targeting different parts of the country. It is a matter of relief that there was no major casualty in today’s attack, although one missile fell on the ground but it did not cause any loss of life.

Attacks in the last 24 hours and major figures so far

Defense Ministry spokesperson Brigadier Abdulnasir Alhamdi has informed that the attacks are being carried out by Iran. The army has enough ammunition to respond to them. The number of attacks in the last four days, i.e. from February 28 till now, is quite large, but the UAE Air Force and air defense systems have eliminated most of the attacks in the air. You can understand the latest status in the table given below:

Details Data (Status) Today (Day 4) Missiles Intercepted 11 Ballistic Missiles Today (Day 4) Drones Intercepted 123 Drones Total Missiles (since Feb 28) 186 Detected (172 destroyed) Total Drones (since Feb 28) 812 Detected (755 destroyed) Total Cruise Missiles 8 (all 8 destroyed)

Impact on public safety and flights

So far 68 people have suffered minor injuries due to debris falling due to these attacks. The sad news is that a total of 3 people have been confirmed dead, who were citizens of Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. It is important for Indians and other expatriates to know that in view of security, airlines like Emirates, Etihad and flydubai have changed their flight timings or temporarily stopped some flights.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has advised all residents to remain in safe places during the alert. Also, do not pay attention to videos or rumors circulating on social media and rely only on government information. Oil prices have also crossed $80 per barrel, the effect of which can be seen in the coming days. Rules of remote working have also been implemented in schools and private sector so that people remain safe.
