Pakistan’s biggest tragedy has been that the reins of the rule there have been in the hands of the army. To say, elections have been held from time to time in the name of Jamhuriyat, but more powerful than the Prime Minister of the government elected by the public is the army prominent there. Despite being a representative of the people, it is not possible for a political rule to protect the Army Chief. If someone ever daring, he was crucified, or was put in jail, or deported out of the country. It is not surprising that the military generals there keep dancing to the visiting governments like puppets.
It has been 78 years since Pakistan came into existence, but the situation still remains the same. Even today, Pakistan Army General Asim Munir is more powerful than the Wazir-e-Azam Shahbaz Sharif, even though there is no official rule there. It is not an exaggeration that Army is not a national assembly in Pakistan, not the National Assembly. Currently, the surveyor of the army is Munir Saheb, who has recently been awarded the field of Field Marshall despite his mouth eating during Operation Sindoor.
This is not hidden even at the international level. Had it not been so, US President Donald Trump would not have called Munir to meet the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Has it ever happened that a head of state or head of nation has called an Army Chief of India for talks? This does not seem strange in the context of Pakistan. This is the reason that Munir’s courage has become elevated after breaking the rotis with Trump. They are seeing Pakistan as an open support from America. After Trump’s announcement of imposing 50 percent tariff on India, he probably also feels that now there is a chance to teach India a lesson. Therefore, he is not desisting from threatening nuclear war against India from the land of America. They are also talking about the destruction of half the world. He told a group of Pakistanis living in Florida that if there is a threat to the existence of their country in the war with India in the future, they will not avoid the use of atomic bombs, even if half the world has to pay its price. His statement is being removed that he cannot say so without Trump’s instigation, especially when he is present in America.
Whatever it is, Munir seems to be unaware of the rapidly changing global conditions in today’s era. They are probably in the mood that if Pakistan ever wars in the future with India, America will openly help them, as once in the Nixon era. However, the world has gone far beyond that era of cold war, when it was mainly divided into two parts. Although the battle was not considered a better way to solve a issue earlier, but in today’s scenario it has become completely meaningless. If the solution of an issue was based on the strategic power of a country, then the decision of Russia vs Ukraine and Iran vs. Ijrael war would have come to the fore in a few days.
Actually today’s battle is to be held on the economic front. In the growing era of marketism, markets around the world have become new battlefields. The larger the majority of which is on the market, the more super power. The ‘Tariff War’ launched by Trump against other countries of India, China or BRICS is probably part of the same strategy that is to be resolved by trading policies between two countries, not by strategic intervention. Even though Trump may have declared the Indian economy dead, the fact cannot be denied that India has emerged as an economic superpower today.
Obviously, in the global market, the formation of first BRICS and then the continuous improvement of countries like China and India, the economy cannot be lost for super power like America for the future. Therefore, the policy of his mind-creating trade deal for Trump is a medicine for every merge. All his recent exercises have to persuade India to trade the trade deal on their own terms. For him, his own economy is more important than the solution of old issues between India and Pakistan. Pakistan’s political rulers and their military masters have to understand that now the nuclear bomb seems to be suitable for winning the war for a super power. This is the reality of new global system.
