A war-like situation is being created in the Gulf countries and Iran has greatly intensified its military action. Iran’s military spokesman Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari has clearly warned that if residential areas or civilians are attacked again, Iran’s revenge will be bigger and more dangerous than before. Iran has named this entire action as Operation True Promise 4 and has said that they will not back down.

Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari said that Iran’s air defense network has so far shot down 163 drones. He said that if enemy countries harm ordinary citizens of Iran, Iran will double its force against their interests at the regional level. Iran has also made it clear that it will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for any temporary ceasefire.
This military statement also claimed that a US rescue mission in South Isfahan completely failed, in which two C-130 aircraft and two helicopters were destroyed. However, the US President has claimed to have safely evacuated a soldier, which Iran has rejected. UAE has also been warned that if its land is used against Iran, there could be a massive attack on areas like Ras Al Khaimah. This situation remains quite worrying for Indians and other expatriates living in Gulf countries.
