What happened in the latest attack in Manama?
On Friday, March 6, 2026, a hotel and two residential buildings in Manama were targeted in the attack by Iran. The Home Ministry said that there was structural damage and fire in these buildings, but the matter of relief is that no one died.
Qatar has condemned the attack and said that the buildings targeted were occupied by Qatar Naval Force personnel, who were there on a joint mission. All Qatari soldiers are said to be safe. This attack was part of the ongoing tension since February 28, in which Bahrain’s government oil refinery was also damaged.
