Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has denied reports going viral on social media that missile fragments had fallen on a house in a residential area. The ministry has clarified that this is a complete rumour. Actually, due to strong winds and negligence of the contractor, some material from the under construction house had fallen on the vehicles parked below. No one was injured in this incident and only vehicles were damaged.

What was the real reason for the incident?
After investigating the viral video and claims, Kuwait Police and security forces found that no foreign object or missile fragments were found at the spot. The debris that fell on the vehicles was the construction material of the same house.
The ministry said that the contractor did not follow safety standards amid bad weather and strong winds. This accident happened due to this negligence. An appeal has been made to the common people not to believe in such false news.
Strict action will be taken against those spreading rumors
The Home Ministry has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who tries to create panic among people by spreading fake news or wrong videos. The Cyber Crime Department is continuously monitoring all such social media accounts.
Along with this, people have been advised to immediately call emergency number 112 if they see any suspicious object. Trust only official government channels before sharing any information.
