The situation regarding security in Kuwait has remained very serious for the last few days. While giving official information, the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait has said that since the tension started on 28 February 2026, till now danger sirens have sounded a total of 75 times in the country. Ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib said that sirens have been sounded 8 times within the last 24 hours. It is very important for the Indian workers and migrants living there to know this information.

Attack on airport and martyrdom of 2 officers
According to reports, government property has been damaged in the latest attacks in Kuwait. Fuel tanks near Kuwait International Airport were attacked by drones, due to which a fire broke out. However, Kuwait Fire Force showed promptness and controlled the fire. Apart from this, there was also a fire incident due to falling of debris on the PIFSS building, where the employees were in safe shelter.
The saddest news is that two Kuwaiti border guard officers were martyred while performing their duty on the morning of Sunday, March 8. These include Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Emad al-Sharh and Major Fahad Abdulaziz al-Mujammad. Security forces have destroyed several ballistic missiles and drones in the air in the last 24 hours.

Rising and Falling: This means that the danger still remains. Go indoors immediately and stay away from windows.
Continuous Tone: This means that the danger has passed and the situation is under control.
The ministry has appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors on social media and only trust the news of KUNA (Kuwait News Agency). As a precaution, Kuwait’s National Oil Company has also announced a cut in crude oil production, the effect of which may be visible on the market in the coming days.
