Bihar Elections: After the Bihar assembly election dates were announced, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi reached Gaya on Tuesday and launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with BJP, RJD. Owaisi said that the root of corruption and social inequality in Bihar is in the policies of BJP and Nitish Kumar. Addressing the election meeting in Gayaji’s Chakand, he said, “This election is not just the count of votes, but our identity, equality and the future of our children. Now it is not enough to vote.”
Mosques are being captured
Owaisi appealed to the public to strengthen AIMIM and said that “the leader will be the one who will stand for you. Every religion should be respected.” Targeting the central government, he said about the Waqf law, “Efforts are being made to capture our mosques and Waqf properties.” Moving forward in this episode, Owaisi said, “This election is not a few days, but a fight for generations to come.” He also added that “we fought less seats in Bihar, but the public showed confidence and won us.” He attacked Nitish Kumar directly and said that corruption in his government is at its peak. “Housing scheme or pension, bribe is sought everywhere,” he said.
Nitish and Lalu targeted
Owaisi appealed to the youth, saying, “We are an option, the policies of our party should be conveyed to women. It will not only win my, your victory. Now the time is to make the vote a strength.” He said, “This election is a question of share, not just power. If we unite, change is possible.” Targeting Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Yadav, Owaisi said, “We had sought only six seats, but we were ignored.”
