Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has once again launched a scathing attack on the central and state governments from the Mahabodhi temple. He said that the present government has completely failed on issues of employment, corruption and social justice. Tejashwi Yadav said in his speech that unlike the expectations and aspirations of the general public, the government has been limited to only promises and appearances.
During the program organized at the Mahabodhi temple, Tejashwi Yadav targeted Modi and Nitish Kumar, saying that the job crisis and unemployment in Bihar are continuously increasing, while the big announcements of the central government have no effect on the ground. He said, “The youth are wandering in search of employment, while some people are taking advantage of power and taking personal benefits through corruption. This is a fraud with the public.”
Tejashwi also surrounded the government in education and health sector. He said that the condition of government schools and hospitals still remains poor and neglected. According to him, instead of improving the level of education and health services in Bihar, the government is only focusing on publicity and political rallies. Tejashwi Yadav said that this is causing the most damage to the common man and poor families.
At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav, while highlighting the cases of corruption in the state, said that there is a lot of negligence in making the benefits of government schemes to the poor. He alleged that due to paperwork and bribery in many departments, schemes are not reaching the beneficiaries at the right time. According to him, due to this unsuccessful policy, Bihar is developing intermittently and unevenly.
Tejashwi said that if the state and central governments do not improve their policies, the people of Bihar will have to struggle on both political and social fronts. He appealed to the youth to raise their voice for their demands and rights and be cautious for their future.
After this attack by the RJD leader, there has been a stir in the political corridors. No official response has been received by Modi and Nitish government so far. Political analysts believe that Tejashwi Yadav not only exposed the government’s flaws in his speech from the Mahabodhi temple but also strengthened his political hold for the upcoming elections.
