After the implementation of GST 2.0, from September 22, 2025, Yamaha’s motorcycles and scooters in the country will become cheap by Rs 17,581.
Yamaha India has announced a cut in all its model line-up prices in the country. Yamaha motorcycles as well as scooters will be cheap due to less GST of 18 percent than the tax slab of 28 percent. The company said that the prices of its two -wheelers will be cut between Rs 7,759 to Rs 17,581 on the basis of model. The revised prices will be applicable from September 22, 2025 and therefore the Japanese brand has urged buyers to start booking as soon as possible to avail these price deduction before the festive season.
Yamaha Motor India President, Itaru Otani said: “We thank the Government of India that they reduced GST on two -wheelers on time. This step will increase the demand for bikes and scooters in the festive season. Lowering prices will give direct benefit to customers and it will also increase the purchase of people. Are.”
Yamaha sells three scooters including RayzR, Fascino and Aerox 155S in the Indian market, which prices are Rs 93,760, Rs 1.03 lakh and Rs 1.54 lakh respectively. Due to the implementation of GST 2.0, the new price of RayZR range will start from Rs 7,759 to Rs 86,001. Talking about Fascino, its revised initial price will be Rs 94,281, which is about Rs 8,509 less than the current model.

Finally, Aerox 155 S will now be sold for Rs 1.41 lakh as its price has been cut by Rs 12,753. However, it is still more than TVS NTorQ 150, which costs between Rs 1.19-1.29 lakh. But this recently launched Hero Xoom is about 7 thousand rupees cheaper than 160, which is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh.
Talking about motorcycles, the new price of the flagship R15 model launched a few days ago will be Rs 1.94 lakh, which is less than Rs 2.12 lakhs less than Rs 17,581. Talking about the MT15 line-up, its initial price will now be Rs 1.66 lakh, which was earlier Rs 1.81 lakh. The price of FZ-S FI Hybrid will start from Rs 12,031 to Rs 1.33 lakh as compared to Rs 1.45 lakh.
Finally, the Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid will now be Rs 12,430 more cheaper with a new price of Rs 1.38 lakh, compared to Rs 1.50 lakh before GST 2.0. The company has given full advantage of recent GST amendments to buyers.
