Chhattisgarh: On the historic occasion of completion of 25 years of establishment of Chhattisgarh state, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today garlanded the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari installed in the Collectorate premises in the capital Raipur and paid homage to him.
Chief Minister Sai offered prayers in accordance with the rich folk culture of Chhattisgarh and wished for the happiness, prosperity and all-round development of the people of the state. He said that Chhattisgarh Mahtari is a symbol of our identity, faith and pride.
Chief Minister Shri Sai: “This land is the land of worship of mother power and with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, the state is moving on the path of continuous progress. Our government is committed to the overall development of the state.”
Silver Jubilee Year: Resolve for new energy and development
While wishing the people of the state on the State Foundation Day (Rajyotsav), the Chief Minister said that this silver jubilee year is a symbol of new energy and determination for the state. Outlining the priorities of the government, he said that the state government is running many schemes for improving the living standards of the general public, women empowerment, agricultural development, employment to youth, progress of tribal society and cultural preservation.
Today’s proud moment: Arrival of PM Modi
CM Sai described today as a particularly proud moment, because Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is coming to Chhattisgarh on the occasion of State Foundation Day and many historical programs are being organized on this occasion.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with the blessings of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, in the coming times, the state will definitely establish its strong identity among the leading and prosperous states of the country.
On this occasion, many distinguished citizens and intellectuals including MLA Shri Purandar Mishra were present, who witnessed this historic moment and wished for the bright future of the state.
