Government’s full focus on the development of Gurugram
Chandigarh Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Gurugram has to be made number one in the cleanliness rankings with better administrative system management and public participation. With my Gurugram-Swachh Gurugram theme, come and go ahead to create a healthy Gurugram by creating a clean and pure environment. The Chief Minister was giving a message to the common man to maintain cleanliness by cleaning themselves in Sohna Chowk and Sector 52 area in Mega Cleanliness Campaign Gurugram under Haryana City Cleanliness Campaign on Thursday morning. The Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA from Gurugram Mukesh Sharma and Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar and other administrative officers. The Chief Minister also motivated people to adopt cleanliness by cleaning themselves with cleanliness friends.
Create a pleasant atmosphere by adopting continuous cleanliness: Chief Minister Addressing the common man in the mega cleanliness campaign, the Chief Minister said that cleanliness is the basis of our life. In such a situation, everyone has to create a pleasant atmosphere by adopting cleanliness in a continuous lifestyle. He said that the Haryana government will give every possible support in making my Gurugram-Swachh Gurugram. He assured that now after the rain, the development works will be benefited for the convenience of the people of Gurugram district. He said that there will be a big positive change in Haryana under the city cleanliness campaign and in these 11 weeks of special campaign, beautification and improvement of every urban area is being focused. The cleanliness ranking of the urban area will also be determined in which Gurugram will have a remarkable place.
Cleanliness is becoming a mass movement under the leadership of Prime Minister: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the Swachh Bharat Mission campaign was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from 2 October 2014. Under his efficient leadership, cleanliness mass movement is being formed across the country. He said that cleanliness is not only government responsibility but it is the collective responsibility of all countrymen. Keeping cleaning your home, your street, your neighborhood and ward, all of them should be a partner in this sacred campaign of cleanliness. He informed that the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is going to celebrate Seva Pakhwada in Haryana from 17 September. In this, organizing public awareness program with cleanliness, plantation, health camps, sports awareness activities is important in social change. The service fortnight in the state will run till 2 October.
The Chief Minister expressed special gratitude to RWA, business organizations including Dera Sacha Sauda, Radha Swami Satsang and Sant Nirankari Mission for becoming an ally in my Gurugram-Swachh Gurugram campaign.
Campaign to make Gurugram clean and beautiful will continue continuously: MLA Mukesh Sharma
Addressing the program, MLA Mukesh Sharma said that this campaign to make Gurugram clean and beautiful will not be limited to any one day or week, but it will be given the form of a continuous mass movement. He clarified that this effort will not be allowed to stop under any circumstances. The MLA assured that in the coming days this campaign will be carried forward with more passion, energy and well -planned strategy. The MLA called upon the citizens that this is not possible only with government efforts, but it requires active participation and cooperation of every Gurugram. He said that cleanliness should not only be a cleanliness campaign, but it should be a part of our thinking and lifestyle.
