Dholpur. Under the guidance of District Collector Srinidhi BT and District Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, the District Transport and Road Safety Department is continuously taking action against illegal vehicles.

District Transport Officer Gaurav Yadav said that 250 vehicles have been seized by the department. Against those against whom challan action has been taken and a fine amount of more than Rs 12 lakh has been collected, this action will continue. A seminar was organized by the Transport Department under the Road Safety Campaign in Government College, Dholpur, in which Transport Inspector Deepak Sharma, while addressing the students of the college, said that you can fulfill your human duty as a good helper, for which an amount of Rs 10,000 will also be provided to you as incentive by the Rajasthan Government. Transport Inspector Deepak Sharma said that road accidents can be reduced only through awareness. He said that if the injured in a road accident reaches the nearest hospital during golden hours, can you become a good semi-returner?
He appealed to the students not to drive until they complete 18 years of age. He said that the department is continuously taking action against illegally driven vehicles but unless the common citizen is aware of the traffic rules, road accidents cannot be reduced. College Principal Dr. Girraj Singh Meena said that public awareness campaigns are run from time to time by the Transport Department. It should be the moral responsibility of all of us to provide support to them and not follow the rules just out of fear of challan. Rather, assimilate the traffic rules into your life.
On this occasion, NSS in-charge Dr. Anjul Singh said that today’s student is tomorrow’s citizen. Therefore, the things taught in student life are always useful throughout life. Very important information was made available to the students through the Transport Department. Which will always be useful for them. He said that students should follow traffic rules and inspire others to follow the rules as well.
On this occasion, Ranjit Diwakar, Secretary of Nyaya Darshan Sanstha, said that increasing road accidents can be reduced only through collective efforts. Therefore, we all have to collectively make people aware. On this occasion, Dr. Rita Singh, Vinod Garg, Devendra Kashyap, Amar Goswami were mainly present from the college family. In the program, the transport inspector made the students take oath to follow the traffic rules.
