The updated Tata Curvv adds premium features like R-Comfort seats, Serenity Screen rear sunshades, premium Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seats
Tata Motors has launched its updated Curve coupe SUV in India, which now comes with more premium and executive features than before. With the help of smart engineering, the company has increased the interior space in all its variants (both ICE and EV), making the cabin more comfortable and practical.
The updated Curve gets India’s first R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, along with Serenity Screen rear sunshades, EasySip cup docks, white carbon fiber finished dashboard and Benecke-Kaliko leatherette seats with Lalitpur Gray color scheme. Due to these updates, the new Curve has become the most comfortable and luxurious SUV in its segment.
Adding further to the luxury features, it now comes with Twin Zone Climate Air Conditioning. Features like Pure Comfort Rear Co-Passenger Footrest and ErgoWing Headrest have been included in the Curvv.ev variant, which provide excellent comfort and exclusivity to the rear passengers. This updated model will be available at a starting price of Rs 14.55 lakh in all Curv Accomplished variants and Rs 18.49 lakh in Curvv.ev Accomplished and Empowered variants.
Tata Curve is creating a new identity in the midsize SUV segment with its SUV-coupe design and advanced features. It is built on ATLAS platform for ICE version and acti.ev platform for EV version. It not only delivers superior performance but also offers excellent mileage and real-world range. Its cabin is also completely premium, which includes voice-activated panoramic sunroof, mood lighting, gesture-activated powered tailgate and a large boot space of 500 liters.
In terms of technology, the new Curve features a 31.24 cm (12.3″) Harman cinematic touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL sound system and Arcade.ev feature, which provides an immersive audio experience. The SUV is available in both petrol-diesel and EV powertrain options. 1.2L Revotron petrol engine, 1.5L KryoJet diesel engine and Hyperion gasoline direct injection. Engines It is available in both automatic and manual gearbox options.
The Curve EV is available in 45 kWh and 55 kWh battery packs with power outputs of 147 bhp and 164 bhp respectively. The torque output of both the battery packs is 210 Nm. In terms of safety, the Tata Curve is equipped with Level 2 ADAS features and has received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, which is a testament to its robust engineering and high safety standards.
