Jaipur. Creating a new dimension in the history of sports, the Khelo India University Games concluded with a grand and colorful program in Jaipur. In this grand event which started from 24th November, sports talents attracted everyone’s attention with their talent. Deputy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa and State Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathod were present in the program. While addressing the closing ceremony of Khelo India University Games, Sports Minister Rajya Vardhan thanked the players and volunteers for the success of this grand event and wished for a bright future for the players. He said that the way the grand organization of KIUG was organized in different cities of Rajasthan under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Recalling the old era of sports events, Rajyavardhan Rathore said that in our time, when we used to go to other cities to play, we did not even get reservation in trains. But today these conditions have changed. There has been a radical change in these conditions during the KIUG era. For this he expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the country’s one-man army, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has changed the entire environment after 2014. Being a player, I thank him for focusing on sports and changing sports. He has increased the respect of the players. Today one feels proud looking at the playground.
Rathore said that today players are getting world class facilities and excellent arrangements. It feels good to see this atmosphere and I also feel like playing again today and taking the field again. He said that sports are not just about winning and losing, they are also about friendship. The players who came met players from other parts of the country and became friends. From this platform, India will become a better India. Our Prime Minister wants that this same environment should be created in the entire country and our players should come to other countries hoisting the tricolor flag.
