Recently a video of actress Mahika Sharma went viral in which she was seen experiencing an “oops moment”. Now, her boyfriend and cricketer Hardik Pandya has lashed out at the paparazzi for capturing the actress inappropriately. Hardik said on social media that every woman deserves respect. The cricketer also advised the paparazzi to maintain some humanity.
Hardik Pandya wrote on his Instagram story: “I understand that being in the public eye requires attention and scrutiny, it’s a part of the life I have chosen. But today something happened that crossed the line. Mahika was coming down the stairs in a restaurant in Bandra when the media captured her from an angle that no woman should be photographed at. A private moment was turned into a cheap sensation.”
“Keep some humanity…”
Hardik further wrote in the post: “It’s not about headlines or who clicked what, it’s about basic respect. Women deserve respect. Everyone has the right to their boundaries. My media brothers who work hard every day – I respect your hard work and I always cooperate. But I request all of you to please be a little more careful. There is no need to capture everything. There is no need to see every angle. There is no need to see every angle in this game. Please maintain some humanity. Thank you.”
Relationship confirmed in October
It is worth noting that Hardik Pandya and Mahika Sharma had officially confirmed their relationship in October this year. Just before her 32nd birthday, the couple shared pictures from their holiday together. Later, a video of them performing puja (religious ceremony) together also surfaced.
