Himachal’s mountaineer Anjali Sharma is trending on social media these days because of her marriage. She married an African man and posted pictures with him on social media. Marriage is a personal decision, and a person can marry whomever he wants, but these days there are many people on social media who judge people. Something similar happened with Anjali Sharma too, and people started trolling her and her husband because of their skin color. Fed up with the trolling, Anjali has finally given a befitting reply.
What answer did Anjali give to the trolls?
Anjali posted a picture of herself wearing a wedding dress with her husband on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Life’s decisions. Not everyone takes it like this. Think and understand. So how can I be so wrong about one of my decisions? Why are people calling me so wrong?”
He said this by making a video.
Even after this people will not believe her, Anjali has given a befitting reply to the trolls by making a video. In the video, Anjali says, “You know who I am, so I don’t need to introduce myself. You all know me. Since I am married to a black man from South Africa, I want to ask all of you who are trolling me, saying that I have done something very wrong. Don’t I have any right to choose my life partner?” People are saying that my parents did not teach me anything that I have brought shame to the country. Right now, I want to say that I have not defamed anyone, but have made the country proud.
Further in the video, she says, “People who are making fun of me about my husband should stop doing so. It shows your mentality. You should do something good. We Indians are not so bad. When did you become so bad?” He further said, “I don’t think it’s wrong whether someone is brown or black. I like all colors… He was black by birth, it was not his choice, so before saying anything to anyone, think that we are Indians and we are never wrong.”
