Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij today took a dig at the Congress and said, “Congress has become a vote stealer because these are the same voter lists on which Congress has been contesting and winning elections and their governments have also been formed. He said that if Congress is honest on this matter, then Congress MLAs from wherever they have been elected should resign because these Congress MLAs have also won with stolen votes”. He sarcastically said, “If these voter lists are wrong, then Congress people should show some dignity and make all your MLAs who have contested and won the elections resign”. Answering the questions of media persons, Vij said that “If Congress says that votes have been stolen and it is honest, then wherever its MLAs are from, they should resign because these Congress MLAs have also won with stolen votes because the lists are there and elections have been held on them only”. In response to a question regarding whether the court has sent a vote-related notice to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Vij said that many cases of vote theft of Rahul Gandhi’s Congress party are pending in the court and former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi was also ‘unseated’ in the case of vote theft, at that time the then Justice JML Sinha had canceled her election, which is on record.
On the other hand, Sonia Gandhi became a citizen later and started voting earlier. Similarly, in the year 1946, when the Congress President was elected, the state committees had to vote in that election and during that time, out of 17 state committees, 12 committees chose Sardar Patel ji and other committees voted for Acharya Kripalani and others. Whereas Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru did not get any vote and at that time the one with zero votes was made the Prime Minister.
Questioning Congress, Vij said that Congress talks about vote theft. If Congress talks about vote theft, then wherever Congress governments are winning, those governments should step down. Similarly, in Bihar, elections have been fought from the same voter lists from which BJP has fought and from which Congress has also fought and Nitish Kumar has also fought and Indi alliance has also fought.
In response to another question asked regarding the suspension of Navjot Kaur Sidhu after the statement given by Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu about the Rs 500 crore deal for the post of Chief Minister, he said, “Madam Navjot Kaur Sidhu made public the tradition within the Congress and told deep and hidden things to the people about how the Chief Minister is made in the Congress. That is why she (Navjot Kaur Sidhu) was expelled from the party that you Why did (Navjot Kaur Sidhu) tell the truth and perhaps that is why he (Navjot Kaur Sidhu) is going to meet Rahul Gandhi and tell him, but this is the formula of the party only.
