Passengers will start increasing from the new expressway from Delhi to Dehradun. But now if you see the impact on the pocket of traveling from Delhi to Dehradun, then it is going to be more than the bus fare from Delhi to Dehradun. Actually, probable toll rates have been released on Delhi Dehradun Expressway.
Those traveling on the under-construction Delhi-Dehradun Expressway may have to shell out money. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has prepared the proposal for toll charges before the expressway is fully operational. According to the proposal, if traveling by car from the capital Delhi to Dehradun, a toll of about Rs 670 will have to be paid.
Although there is still time for the entire stretch of the expressway to be operational, the toll structure is being finalized for trial runs and partial operations.

Toll will not be imposed till Eastern Peripheral Expressway
According to NHAI officials, vehicles going to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) will not be charged toll. The proposed toll rates will be implemented only after the highway is fully operational.
Part open for trial
A section of the expressway from Akshardham temple to EPE near Mavikalan village in Baghpat district has been opened for trials. This part is about 31.6 kilometers long.
This route will reach Dehradun via Loni, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli and Saharanpur.
Five toll plazas and 12 interchanges
A total of five toll plazas will be built on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway. Along with this, 12 interchanges have also been developed for the convenience of passengers, which will provide direct connectivity to various cities and towns.
