New Delhi, 12 September (IANS). The Indian Physiotherapist Association Women Cell organized an important press conference in the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi on Friday in collaboration with Fijio Manthan, an important press conference before the third National Conference of the upcoming IAP Women’s Cell and Fizio Manthan 2025. Through this press meat, the outline, objectives and impact on public health were presented in detail the conference to be held on 13–14 September.
The commencement of the community poster education program was announced in the press meat. This program has been started with the aim of making school children, workplaces and general public aware of the right physical currency and muscles health. Its purpose is to bring preventive health care to the ground level. During this period, a book titled ‘Role of Physiotherapy in Neuro-Rehabilitation’ was launched, which depicts scientific and evidence-based interventions of physiotherapy in neurological diseases.
Dr. Sanjeev Jha, National President, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, said, “Wheelchair will be distributed to the needy under the wheelchair distribution campaign to make them more self -sufficient and live a dynamic life.”
He said that the physiotherapy of financially weak background was announced to give scholarships to the students for their studies and career. This exhibition to be held for the first time will display the latest technologies, equipment and research of physiotherapy.
Dr. Sanjeev Jha said that the role of physiotherapy in the health sector will be discussed with the participation of policy-makers, academics and medical experts in the conference. He also informed that India has received the honor of hosting the Asia West Pacific Regional Physiotherapy Conference 2026.
At the same time, IAP Women’s Cell Head Dr. Ruchi Varshney said that this conference is not only an academic event, but the medium of social change, women empowerment and global cooperation. Initiatives such as wheelchair distribution and scholarship reflect our inclusive approach.
