Udaipur. On Friday, a red-faced monkey suddenly entered the Udaipur court premises and created a ruckus. The monkey attacked 4-5 lawyers and a constable, due to which the important documents kept on the tables got scattered and there was chaos in the entire campus. The functioning of the court was affected for about 1 to 1.5 hours. On receiving the information, the wildlife rescue team reached the spot and after a lot of effort, caught the monkey safely and took it out. The monkey was released in the Biological Park on the instructions of the Collector and the Municipal Corporation. Wildlife rescuer Dharmendra Paniger said that this monkey was posing a threat to the people in the city for the last one and a half month. During this time, about 20-25 people were attacked in Pratapnagar and Nakoda Nagar areas. Apart from this, 4-5 students were also bitten in RCA College and complaints of attacks were also received in Potters Kiln and Shobhagpura 100 Feet Road area.
Now that the monkey was released at a safe place, the general public and the court premises heaved a sigh of relief.
