Bhopal, January 14 (). Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Umang Singhar has accused the state government of being anti-education and said that the government has demolished the school building in Betul district.
Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar alleged that on one hand the government gives the slogan of ‘Padhega India to Badhega India’, while on the other hand a school built at a cost of Rs 20 lakh in Betul’s Dhaba village has been demolished. When the Sarpanch had NOC and the building was built for education, where is the justice in demolishing it instead of imposing fine on minor technical deficiencies? Does development in Madhya Pradesh mean only bulldozers?
The Leader of Opposition further said that the demolition of this school building is the result of the anti-education thinking of the Madhya Pradesh government. Although this school was going to become a center of education for the surrounding villages, it now fell victim to the anti-education thinking of the government.
The Leader of Opposition further said that this Dhaba village of Bhainsdehi area is part of the same district from where our BJP State President comes. Now think once and see that when the temples of education are being demolished in the district of BJP State President, then what will be the situation in the rest of the state?
Referring to the government schools closed in the state in the last few years, Singhar said that the Madhya Pradesh government has closed more than 29 thousand government schools in the last five years. On the other hand, if someone is building a school with personal motives, then they are not allowing him to build it either. After all, to what pit does this government want to take the state by closing government schools and demolishing private schools?
