The new Skoda Kushaq gets rear massage seats, new front and rear design and 8-speed torque converter transmission.
Skoda Auto India has revealed the 2026 Skoda Kushaq in India. Many changes have been made in the new model, from design to features, while this SUV is based on the MQB-A0 IN platform as before. Customers can book it on the company’s website, for which a token amount of Rs 15,000 will have to be paid.
Talking about the front design, the 2026 Kushaq has newly designed headlamps, with which new LED daytime running lights are available. These DRLs are joined together by segmented lighting elements, which seem to be inspired by Skoda’s global models. Apart from this, the grille has also been redesigned and now it gets angular silver inserts along with the new bumper, which gives the SUV a more premium and sharp look. Skoda’s signature badge on the bonnet is present as before.
A big change can be seen at the rear also. The traditional Skoda logo has now been replaced with illuminated ‘SKODA’ lettering spanning the tailgate. It comes with split LED tail lamps, which follow the segmented lighting theme like the front.
The feature list on the interior has been significantly upgraded, especially in the higher variants. The 2026 Kushaq is now available in Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo variants. The Prestige and Monte Carlo trims come with segment-first rear seat massager, panoramic sunroof, 26.03 cm digital cockpit and front parking sensors. Apart from this, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, upgraded sound system with amplifier and subwoofer and 25.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system are available, in which Google based AI Assistant is also provided.
The Monte Carlo variant gets sportier touches, including exclusive badging, red grille accents, illuminated front grille light band, blacked-out exterior elements, dual-tone roof, sequential rear indicators and leatherette upholstery. Whereas the Prestige variant gets chrome grill ribs, premium beige interior and a more elegant look.
There has been no change in engine options. As before, the 2026 Skoda Kushaq gets 1.0 liter TSI and 1.5 liter TSI turbo petrol engines. Rear disc brakes are also now provided in the 1.5 TSI variant. For transmission, a new 8-speed torque converter automatic is available with the 1.0 liter engine and 7-speed DSG gearbox with the 1.5 liter engine.
