Disruption of sleep, irritability, hormonal disturbances, and weakening of immunity are all causes of stress. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH advises to do yoga.
There are many yoga postures, but there are some postures which look very simple from outside, but bring deep changes inside. Yoni Mudra is one of them.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Yoni Mudra helps in calming the mind. When a person pays attention to his breathing, thoughts and energy, it relieves stress and provides peace to the mind. To do this, sit in Sukhasana or Padmasana posture, close your eyes and make a special shape with your fingers and meditate with deep breathing for some time. This simple action helps to calm the entire nervous system.
When we sit in Yoni posture, the external noise gradually starts going away from the mind. According to the Ministry of AYUSH, regular exercise reduces the level of stress hormones, which provides relief from anxiety, fear and restlessness. This is the reason why this mudra is also considered useful for those people who are under mental pressure for a long time.
Yoni Mudra is also considered special in terms of hormonal balance. Hormonal changes in women’s body directly affect mood, periods and energy levels. Regular exercise has a positive effect on the internal glands of the body, which improves hormonal balance. This pose is also beneficial for men as it helps in calming hormonal disturbances related to stress.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, when the mind is calm, the body’s defense system works better. The practice of Yoni Mudra balances the flow of energy in the body, which strengthens the immune system and increases the strength to fight minor diseases.
This posture is considered very useful in increasing attention and concentration. Today, the problem of distraction has become common from children to adults. Yoni Mudra helps to fix the mind on one point. Gradually the thinking becomes clear, the ability to take decisions improves, and the mind starts concentrating on work.
Yoni Mudra also provides relief in problems like thyroid and PCOD. It helps in controlling these problems by improving the balance of the body. Its effect has also been seen in menstrual irregularities, because it reduces stress and corrects hormonal balance.
