Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has met Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust President Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj and inquired about his health. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has given information about his meeting with Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj on the social media platform X and said that he has talked to doctors and got information about his health. CM wrote on X that today he met Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj, the respected Mahant of Shri Maniramdas Cantonment and President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow to inquire about his well-being and inquired about his health from the doctors.
Along with this, CM has prayed for his speedy recovery.
Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after his health deteriorated. According to the information received, he was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. He was suffering from intestinal infection (diarrhoea). He was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) and doctors are monitoring his condition.
Before this, in the month of September last year, his health had deteriorated and even then he was admitted to the hospital.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has been battling health problems since 2019, especially due to urinary issues and inability to eat, his health has deteriorated several times. He has been admitted to Medanta Hospital several times in the last four years.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is the head of the Maniramdas Chhawni Mandir and head of the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, a trust established by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in January 1993 after the demolition of the Babri Masjid. This trust oversees the construction of Ram temple.
Born on June 11, 1938 in Kerhala village of Mathura, this Mahant has played an important role in the construction of many important temples including Ramayana Bhawan, Shri Ranganath Temple and Shri Char Dham Temple in Ayodhya. His association with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement spans several decades.
