Azamgarh, January 23 (IANS). Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav strongly criticized the BJP government of the state on Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand controversy. On Friday he said that the present state government talks about Sanatan, but it cannot even respect Shankaracharya. The public is watching everything and the answer will be given at the right time.
Speaking to IANS in Azamgarh, SP MP Dharmendra Yadav, while referring to Yogi Adityanath, said that those who once believed that Yogi Adityanath was the promoter of Sanatan Dharma and also considered him a brand ambassador, they should now think that when the head of the state cannot even respect Shankaracharya.
He said that in the name of Sanatan Dharma they used to spread hatred against our Muslim brothers, oppress Dalits and backward communities and now even the saint community is being targeted. I believe that Swami Avimukteshwarananda is our respected Shankaracharya and it is the responsibility of every Sanatani to respect him. Those who refuse to do so are arrogant and the public will hold them to account.
Regarding a meeting of Samajwadi Party, he said that I believe that the meeting was very good and all the public representatives were present. Based on their knowledge and experience, each member expressed their concerns and talked about the problems of their respective areas. Our respected members, including MLAs, Chairman and all representatives. He discussed every issue of the district in detail.
In Lucknow, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav talked to prominent people from different districts. In this meeting, Akhilesh Yadav said that the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh is a litmus test for democracy. BJP will plot and plot in the assembly elections. There is no honesty towards the public in BJP. BJP government hates PDA. The arrogance of this government is at its peak. The time has come when egoists will no longer exist.
