Jaipur. During the question hour on Thursday, the second day of the fifth session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry, Cow Husbandry, Dairy and Devsthan Department, Zoram Kumawat, answered the question asked by BJP MLA from Vair (Bharatpur) Bahadur Singh Kauli. During this, Minister Kumawat urged all the MLAs to send proposals through their respective District Collectors regarding the opening of Nandishala at the Panchayat Samiti level by the Cow Husbandry Department. Kumawat said that the Rajasthan government gives up to 90 percent grant for Nandishala. Apart from this, grant is also given for many development works in eligible cow shelters. In response to the question regarding removal of encroachment on the grazing land, he said that this land is under the Panchayat Raj Department, hence the Panchayat Raj Minister is requested to identify the encroached grazing land and get it freed from encroachment. Cow Husbandry Minister Kumawat, in response to the question of allotment of grazing land for cowshed, said that it can be allotted in those gram panchayats where there is no Chak land. Proposals will be taken for this.
