New Delhi, January 28 (IANS). Irregular daily routine and eating habits lead to many physical and mental problems. In such a situation, there are many Yogasanas, by practicing which physical and mental problems can be removed far away. One such practice is inspired by clapping, which is called Flower Clap or Pushp Tali.
Flower Clap is an easy and effective exercise, inspired by the act of clapping. According to Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, this practice is beneficial for people of all ages, from children to adults. It is considered a part of clapping therapy, in which clapping of hands activates many acupressure points of the body.
The method of flower clap exercise is also very easy and can be done anywhere. According to experts, for this, first of all stand straight or sit comfortably. Bring both hands in front of the chest. Now open your hands like a flower – with fingers spread and palms slightly rounded. Then clap loudly, as if flowers are blooming. While clapping, raise your hands upwards and then bring them down, as if rain drops are falling.
During this, the sound of clapping should be fast and rhythmic. Initially do it daily for 5-10 minutes. It is best to practice in the morning on an empty stomach or in the fresh air. For better results, apply mustard or coconut oil on the palms and do clapping. Gradually increase the speed, but do not apply too much force.
The body gets many benefits from the practice of flower clap. There are more than 340 acupressure points in the hands, regular clapping stimulates these points, which improves the health of organs like kidneys, lungs, heart, digestive system and waist. It increases blood circulation, which improves heart health and keeps blood pressure under control.
It is also very beneficial for mental health, it reduces stress, anxiety and mood swings. Happy hormones increase, which keeps the mind happy. It is especially beneficial for children, as it strengthens cognitive development, concentration and motor skills. At the same time, in older people, it relieves joint stiffness, increases immunity and relieves fatigue.
The special thing is that it does not require any equipment, so it can be easily done at home, park or office.
