Tension has once again increased significantly in the Middle East. Iran has made a direct threat to sink America’s huge aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with its hypersonic missiles. In response to this, America has also used its full strength and deployed its Naval Strike Group in the North Arabian Sea. While on one hand Iran has hinted at talks on 1 February 2026, on the other hand it has also started its military drills in the sea.

Hypersonic missile attack warning
This warning was issued by Iran on January 25. It said that if they were provoked, they would not shy away from using their modern weapons. According to reports, Iran has mentioned its Fattah-1 and Fattah-2 missiles.
Iran claims that these missiles can fly at a speed of Mach 15. These missiles are said to be capable of dodging even the American air defense system. However, defense experts believe that real-time satellite data is required to accurately target a ship moving in the sea, which could be a challenge for Iran right now.
America deployed its war fleet
America has also not taken this threat lightly. Many dangerous warships have also been deployed along with USS Abraham Lincoln. This group is present in the North Arabian Sea away from the narrow channel of the Persian Gulf so that it can protect itself from any missile attack.
