In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, security forces have carried out the biggest and most decisive action against terrorists so far. In a massive and gruesome operation that lasted just 40 hours, security forces have killed 145 terrorists. This action has been taken in response to the increasing terrorist activities in Balochistan, which has broken the back of terrorist organizations. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed this during a press conference in Quetta and said that those who play with the security of the state will not be spared.

Security forces took swift action on the basis of intelligence input, terrorists did not get any chance to recover.

Security agencies used accurate intelligence to carry out this operation. As soon as information was received about the terrorists hiding, the army and security forces jointly cordoned off the areas. According to Chief Minister Bugti, the slain terrorists were involved in attacks on innocent civilians and security personnel. This action of the army was so fast that the terrorists did not get any chance to escape or retaliate. The administration says that this operation will prove to be a milestone in the direction of restoring peace in Balochistan.

High alert issued in entire Balochistan, continuous raids on suspicious locations and tight security arrangements

After the killing of such a large number of terrorists, security arrangements have been made extremely strict in the entire province and high alert has been declared. Additional security forces have been deployed in all major cities and sensitive areas including Quetta. Intensive checking campaign is being conducted at the entry and exit points of the city to prevent any kind of retaliatory action or untoward incident. Search operations are still going on in the suspicious areas and security forces are keeping an eye on every nook and corner.

Government’s blunt warning – Those who take up arms will face the same consequences, there is no compromise with national security.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said in clear words that no leniency will be shown to those challenging the state’s writ. He said that whoever takes up arms and sheds the blood of innocents will face the same consequences. In this action, a huge quantity of ammunition and weapons have also been recovered from the terrorists. The government has made it clear that this war will continue until terrorism is eliminated from the soil of Balochistan and national security will not be compromised under any circumstances.
