Deeg. The newly elected pharmacist reception and honor ceremony was organized on Sunday on the occasion of Pharma Ekta Day-2025 in the district. Jawahar Singh Bedham, Minister of State for Home, Gopalan, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries attended the program as the chief guest. Newly appointed pharmacists were greeted and honored at the ceremony. In his address, the Minister of State for Home said that “Pharmacists are the backbone of health system. Providing time and accessible medicine to the public from village to city is an important responsibility of pharmacists. Reveying the schemes to the common man is true public service and true patriotism –
He said that under the leadership of Bhajanlal government, most recruitments have been made in the medical field. He informed that the medical department has been kept in its major priorities by the state government, so that better health services can be available to every rural and urban citizens on time. Giving information about the Rural Service Camp and Urban Service Camps, the Minister of State for Home appealed to the public to reach these camps and get maximum benefits. He said that these camps are not only a medium to benefit government schemes, but are strong initiatives to put “resolution of public service” on the ground. Referring to the next 2 October, he remembered Mahatma Gandhiji and said that Gandhiji’s ideas are still going to give a new direction to the society. On this occasion, he also bowed to the works of former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri ji and said that his simple life and high thoughts are inspiration for all of us. The Minister of State for Home said – “The government’s goal is not only to make schemes, but to spread those schemes to the common man. This is true public service and true patriotism.” A large number of pharmacists, public representatives and dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
