BJP leader Nishikant Dubey on Sunday, while referring to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, emphasized that the BJP government led by Prime Minister Modi is showcasing India’s development to the world, while the Congress has always focused on negative aspects, sparking a debate.
Dubey claimed that Prime Minister Nehru used to show the serpent dance to the world, while Prime Minister Modi showcases technology and artificial intelligence, and said such a contradiction naturally creates resentment.
He also shared a historical photograph from 1962 in which Nehru is seen welcoming Jacqueline Kennedy, wife of then US President John F Kennedy.

Dubey’s comments came after Congress workers protested at the AIL Impact Summit, while world leaders were also present there.

Earlier on Friday, members of the Indian Youth Congress protested at the venue of the summit held at the Bharat Mandapam by taking off their clothes with slogans of “compromising Prime Minister”.
Party workers took off their shirts to protest. The Patiala House Court on Saturday rejected the bail pleas of four Indian Youth Congress workers arrested in connection with the protests and sent them to five-day police custody.
The AI Impact Summit 2026, held from 16-20 February in New Delhi, concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact, an important milestone in global collaboration on artificial intelligence.
The declaration has been endorsed by 88 countries and international organizations, reflecting broad global consensus on leveraging AI for economic growth and social well-being.
Inspired by the principle of “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaay” (welfare of all, happiness of all), the manifesto emphasizes that the benefits of all humanity should be shared equally.
The summit called for enhanced international cooperation and multi-stakeholder engagement while respecting national sovereignty. It focused on advancing AI through accessible and reliable frameworks and developing a shared understanding of how AI can serve humanity.
